On the kitchen or pioneer room in halls that was part of the remodelling scam. When they got rid of the interest on KH loans they ramped up the RBC remodeling and had congos taking out loans for remodels.

Here in detroit I know of 3 KH that could not afford the remodelling scam and the congos that use those halls are being forced to move in to other halls and sell the bldg.

the 8/15/12 report on the annual meeting contained very interesting information.

in october of 2011, guy pierce reported that plans were moving forward with the construction of the new headquarters complex in warwick and tuxedo.

he mentioned that after the project was finished in 4 years then the society would then sell off the brooklyn properties.

Saw a dub the other day he was telling me they are selling the hall I used to go to. Turns out they could not afford the remodeling scam so they will be combining with another hall. This is the 2nd hall Ive come accross that is up for sale.

i was thinking (before i go buy my lottery ticket) , i have probably spent at least an hour of my time on this forum for each of those posts and not your typical kiss-me posts that some people love to fill up the forum with, either.-- 7777 hours is a lot of time and i have been reflecting on this almost eight year voyage- has it been worth it?

for me personally, yes it has.

i learned quite a bit about myself and how other people's thinking process works- if i knew what meds some were on, i wouldn't have wasted my time trying to convince them they aren't the messiah-.

One evening of Internet research can tell a JW all he needs to know about Judge RutherFraud and his Millions now living will never die, Beth Sarim, Princes, 1975, 1914, etc - they can leave under their own steam anytime they choose.

so, the title pretty much explains it.. .

i've come to a pretty definite conclusion for myself as to where i stand, and how i feel about the existence of a deity- let alone the idea that wts has divine backing.. .

my issue is that, being born in, i have lots of subconsciously ingrained phobias and behaviors burned in so deep, i constantly catch myself thinking and reatcting to things the "witness" way- things that don't apply to my life or the way i (want to) live my life anymore.. for example, because of the way i've been raised and indoctrinated, i've grown a serious aversion- you could say almost a literal fear- of worldy people; girls in particular.

Carl Sagan, in his book The Demon Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark, told the story of how the TV program 60 Minutes in Australia performed a funny candid-camera kind of experiment where they manufactured a phony guru and then foisted him on the public for a few weeks, to see how gullible the public was. The experiment was a great success (if you look at it that way) because nobody, not even the press or other TV news organizations, even bothered to check out the charlatan's false credentials and fake credits. Everybody just swallowed it all, hook, line, and sinker. And the most outrageous part was the fact that, after 60 Minutes and even the phony guru himself explained to the public that it had all been a hoax, just a test of gullibility, some people still said to the phony guru, "We don't care what they say about you. We still believe in you." Some people will do just about anything to avoid admitting that they have been fooled - even continue to be fooled. It seems like, once you get those people committed to the hoax, you've really got them.

further to my post the other day re: jw study who had a conversation with me on facebook and started questioning his beliefs, he has now contacted me back....will post the quotes underneath.. his response:.

yes i did tell some brothers how confused i was about the information you sent me, they said does it matter where charles russel is burried, i aggree its abou god not man, and as for peadophillia in past yes it did happen in congregations, but that happens everywhere and they said they did not promote it obviously and that people leave when they done that dark act, they said that the police have been employed in past, there are no more cases i now of, again i dont blame god for this he will sort them out...havent been for a while now , at the end of the day there is lots of stuff on net and as long as i am doing it whole from my heart no one judges me but god, i have so many beautifulll friends in the truth, i believe jehova does have a body of people in the world , you do what you will and all the best i just want to do well and all the religions are in wars and do what they want , i am up for 1 god 1 tounge and not doin waht the rest proclaim to do and be there own gods.... its just that all this came out of nowhere , our chats and was damaging to god , i have no idea what you believe in but your messin with fire if you ask me , dont get lost in apostasy and youtube as its a minefield of miss trust.

thats my view, i hardly know you well at all and you keep contacting me asking what they say etc , i too tired to feel lowe cos you dont really say anything good about god you just seem to want to deter me, not once have you mentioned love peace , jesus , just on about me being mislead, you catch my drift, dont mean to come across rude as i am a happy man , but i get your point how you feel and i have always known fun love great friendships and a relation ship with yaweh,jehova etc so shall we just talk footy and world as its clear you can damage my spiritual health as we not talking about good stuff just jw people are mislead when we should be in union regarding the coming of jesus famines wars, disease im gagging for it to come.. my response:.

Biggest problem with JW's:

as you aint sayin anything good about god or showing me the path to follow???

They fulfill pauls words about being tossed about following any utterances. They are so conditioned by the BORG that when you lay bare the faults of the WT$ the only thing that keeps them in is the fact you dont show them another religion/organization to blindly follow?!?
